Hedgie Friends

As soon as the Penny Black order was priced and put on the shelves I bought myself a new transparent Penny Black set called Hedgie Friends. Given the less than excellent weather we have had the past few days (especially today) I HAD to use the umbrella hedgie first.
I colored the hedgie with my Tombow markers on watercolor paper then paper pieced the umbrella (My Mind's Eye) and rubber boots (Bazzill). I used my Spellbinder Classic Circles and Classic Scallop circles to cut out my circles. I used a Hero Arts sentiment. I finished off the card with some Crystal Stickles to simulate rain which you cannot see in this photo. The yellow gems are by Kaisercraft.
Here is hoping we have at least "ok" weather for the rest of the week!
