Here are a few final photo capturing just some of the fun to be found at CHA!

CHA Day 1 & 2

It seems like CHA is flying by we are now starting day 3. It seems we are busier than last year so I am having trouble finding time to blog it all.

If my count is correct we have placed 8 orders so far and I believe we have another 5 to place before the end of the day today.

Here are some booth highlights. Don't forget to head over to Crafty Capers Facebook page for more photos. Comment on the photos for a chance to win some great prizes.

Anaheim day 2 & 3

We have had a busy couple of days prior to the start of CHA (today 10 am). 2 12+ hour days filled with education, new product sneak peaks and loads of laughs too! Here are a few photos. Be sure to let me know if you see any must have products for Crafty Capers!
We started Thursday with a 7:30 am visit to Prima!

Linda and I in the Prima warehouse waiting for our class to begin

Class supplies for our Finnabair class. I got to play with some (new to me) Finnabair products and LOVED them so glad some are already in stock at Crafty Capers!

Anna aka Finnabair herself! Love her style.

We had an exclusive Product Showcase Thursday night. Kathy fell in love with this Petaloo burlap ribbon, a bunch of different sizes in the same package! LOVE!

You can't see it well in this photo but Tonic has a bunch of  creative, interchangeable dies at a very good price point. Linda is holding some sample cards. The other gal is Jody from Tonic. She is very fun to hang around with!

A new Girlfriend sample from Art Impressions

Linda and Kathy doing a make and take at the SRM booth

A new die by Tonic. Linda and Kathy are in love!!

Kathy and I started the day, you know, just hangin' with Tim! :)

Linda and I did a class with Dina Wakley. She makes mixed media easy even for someone who is a bit uptight like me!

CHA had another amazing block party complete with a band and lite up palm trees. Always a great time!
Be sure to check out the Crafty Capers Facebook page and become a fan. We will have more sneak peaks and a contest beginning today! Wish us luck on the show floor. We were up past midnight last night making a game plan for the show floor today and it looks like we need to hit about 40 booths over the next 3 days plus we have scheduled a few more classes into the day as well to break up our days!
Thank you for staying with me until the end of this long post.

New Year, New Product

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year. I had a busy time hosting and cooking 2 turkey dinners. Saturday, I will celebrate with my family our fourth and final Christmas then I can get on with the new year!
I am happy to report that the store got 2 final orders in 2014 and I stayed late to get them all priced on Dec 31 just so they could go out when we reopen Jan 2. These orders included Lawn Fawn stamps and dies, Penny Black stencils, Hero Arts stamps, Darice embossing folders and Double Scoop Gelatos. Here are some photos of just some of the new arrivals:
Hero Arts Leafy Vine Stamp

Penny Black Promenade stencil

Prima Forever Green paper

How nice is this? CLEAR foam tape - no more visible pop dots.

Loads of Lawn Fawn stamps!

I will be headed to Anaheim CA next week to attend the Craft and Hobby retailer trade show plus I will be meeting with some vendors who are located in sunny California so watch this space for sneak peaks and exclusive photos! If you are not already a fan of Crafty Capers on Facebook now might be a good time to become one as we will have Facebook only sneak peaks on there as well plus a fabulous contest!
Hope everyone has a great start to 2015!
