Have a Seat!

Hero Art's new stamp set "keep calm" caught my eye yesterday while I was playing. I can totally see this chair in someone's grandma's living room or one of those old fashioned library rooms with all the dark wood! Fairly simple card but I am happy with how it turned out. I stamped the chair with Adirondack Cranberry dye ink on a piece of white cardstock I also stamped the sentiment from the same set except with Versafine Vintage Sepia ink. I distressed the edges  of the white piece with a little Tea Dye Distress ink. I pulled a piece of ligth green Bazzill cardstock out of my stash and stamped the Hero Arts Large Fabric background on it with Adirondack Lettuce dye ink to help give the card a little more of a vintage feel. I matted everything with brown cardstock then onto a cream main card. I used my Sakura Stardust pen (can't see it though in this photo) and put a bit of glitter on all the rivets on the chair. I added 4 Kaisercraft pearls as well. Thanks for stopping by.
