Playing with Stickers

These Penny Black flower stickers have been in the store a while and I got inspired this week by Elizabeth Allen's sticker cards. I love her blog! Here is my take on her sticker cards. I'm fairly pleased with how it turned out. I really realized how much I NEED a script stamp though it would have made my background so much easier to do! I did manage though and even used all Penny Black stamps as well along with some Bo Bunny paper, the Victoria Cuttlebug embossing folder (the best one in the world!), Tea dye and Walnut Distress ink. I used 2 sheets of stickers and cut out one set of flowers and popped them up on the other sticker to give some extra dimension. I've included a close up so you can see what I did.
I don't know why I don't think to use stickers more often for my cards. The coloring is done for you and they usually make a quick, elegant card.
Hope everyone has a great Easter weekend! Thanks for stopping by!

I just LOVE that card Victoria!! Now I'll have to buy some of those! Sometimes you just need to see something made from them in order to get inspired to create on your own. This is a perfect example of that!
I'll grab some when I'm down to work on Thursday!
