A Blast from the Past!

Before we get to today's card just a quick reminder (or heads up for those who did not know) that this Saturday is Crafty Capers EGGstravaganza and free card make and take. Make and Take runs 10:30 - 1:30 hope you can join us. Pease bring your own adhesive.
Now onto our card. For those who have been stamping a while you might recognize these super cute flower images. Hero Arts originally brought them out in 2006 then discontinued them a year or so later. At the time they were wildly popular I had trouble keeping them in stock I even had to sell my store set because someone DESPERATELY needed them! I am happy to say the Hero Arts Peeking Posie set has been re-released and for those who love coloring this is a must have set!
The card is faily straight forward. I colored the images on Bazzill cardstock (yes really) with the indirect Tombow marker blending method. I thought the flower backgrounds looked a little naked so I used the small end of my Tombows and added lots of dots. I was quite pleased with myself an easy background and pretty much idiot proof!
I'm hoping to get some extra play time in the shop this week so hopefully, I will have a few more projects to share with you this week.
Thanks for stopping by!

This card is so pretty Victoria! Great idea putting dots on the background. They really added that little something that was needed! You are so smart and talented
