I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. We had a family dinner on Sunday and spent part of the time exchanging England trip photos and laughing at some of the less than flattering ones! (not of me for a change!!) It was a great evening. Monday, I spent the day planting tulips for spring and planting tomato plants. Did you know tomato plants will grow roots if you take cuttings from them and put them in water? Once they have roots plant them in soil and if all goes well I will have fresh tomatoes over the winter in my living room. I will let you know how it goes. Hubby is not too keen on this idea as we already over winter quite a few geraniums in the living room and we live in a small house!
Now back to cardmaking business - here is one of my latest creations. It uses quite a lot of Glitter Ritz Cool Highlight so as usual the glitter does not show up well. The cardinal scene is by Hero Arts and is a solid image. I tried to brayer a few Adirondack die inks onto the stamp to get a varigated sky it worked OK but would probably work better if I played with the technique a bit more. Once the brayering and stamping was done I added a piece of Be Creative tape over top of the image and added the Cool Highlight Glitter Ritz over the entire piece to add some extra sparkle. I matted everything as shown and added a Hero Arts sentiment and bow. The black faux brads were created with Black Enamel Accents.
Thanks everyone for stopping by!
