Come check out Crafty Capers new look!

I figured with a new year it was time to make some layout changes around the store so the past few weeks we've been busy moving furniture around the store. It is still a work in progress but the comments have been very positive! You should come by and see them! We have also been busy receiving boxes and boxes of new product! I'd say we have about 1/3 of the orders we placed at the Creativation show in Phoenix.
I thought I would post a few photos of some of the "new" around the store to give you a sneak peak!

Our die wall is jammed packed and in the same spot for now....

The biggest change is our cash desk has moved! It gives us more space!

New Concord and 9th Stamps and Dies are here and we might have another order arrive today!

Not really new but we have the Tonic Crystal drops and they are our hot seller right now.

New Simple Stories Domestic Bliss papers, washi and stickers!

New Kaisercraft Hanami Garden papers and embellishments definitely have an Asian flair.

Our cardstock racks are still in their original spots but they could move you just never know

Graphic 45 Nature's Sketchbook paper is in its new location. It has been quite popular.

New Hero Arts stamps are here!
Hope you enjoyed the sneak peak of the changes. We are having a Creativation Open House tomorrow at Crafty Capers (2137C Bowen Rd, Nanaimo). Feel free to stop by and see all the new sights! :)

Final day of Creativation

Well, it is the final day of the show and it has been a ton of fun and we have even learned some new things too! :)
To date we have placed 13 orders and we have quite a few left to so we will be closing out the show floor this afternoon.
Here are some of our highlights of the show and be sure to check out Crafty Capers Facebook page for more fun stuff.

CREATIVATION day ?

I'm kind of muddled up about what day it is now although I know today was the first day of education for Creativation. In the past few days we have had classes with Sizzix, Graphic 45, Elizabeth Craft Design, Dina Wakley, Dyan Reaveley, Heartfelt Creations and Reminisce.
I've been quite bad at taking photos this year, not to mention blogging. We've been going 12 to 14 hours per day so I am pooped!  I guess it does help I am a walking quite a bit worse than last year or that I am having a birthday later this week!
We have  submitted a record 3 orders before the show has even officially started. Yeah us!
Here are some photos from the past 3 days.

Dina Wakley and I as always she does a wonderful class. Poor thing was really sick though and lost her voice by end of class.

The only time we have seen the sun was Wednesday at lunch. Phoenix has not been warm.

I thought this photo was pretty funny. Linda was so pooped one night she just dragged her bags along.

New company alert! :)

We did a Gel Press class. Linda and I both had never tried them before. Pretty fun.

A Heartfelt Creations sample we are bringing home with us. Watch for a class soon.

Phoenix day 1

I am down in Phoenix a few days early for special classes. Today we spent the day the with Prima Marketing and Finnabair. As always Anna taught a wonderful class and we are working on having her come to teach at Crafty Capers this summer!
Here are some photos of our day.

Happy Birthday Crafty Capers!

We had our big 15th Crafty Capers birthday party over the weekend. I want to take the time to thank everyone who came out in the icky rainy, windy weather! Thankfully, it was toasty and warm in the store (and we had treats too!).
Here are some of the photos I managed to snap. I taught most of the day so this are quick snap shots!

New Idea-ology is in the store

Oh my, just realized it has been 2 months since I posted on this blog! Very naughty of me! It has been a very busy 2 months! The store has received 90% of its Christmas and 100% of its Halloween products and it seems people are in full on Christmas mode with loads of Christmas products flying out the door each day. Plus Crafty Capers turns 15 on Oct 15th so we are, of course, having a party!
Just wanted to let everyone know that we have NEW Christmas idea-ology products now on our shelves and it is sure to sell out quickly. Stock is limited and some items are already sold out at our supplier so what we have may be all we can get! So stop by soon if any of these goodies are must haves!
New ephemera

Gilded Christmas time rubons

Tidings tape

Jingle brads! We tried ordering these last year and could not even get any so this year we were more on it!

Christmas typed tokens - all these gems come in one package

We have 2 sizes of trees - small and mini! Both super cute!
Thank you to everyone who stopped by the blog! I'm hoping to get back to a regular blogging routine shortly.
